David Darchiashvili

Let's start from very beginning, for the ones that don't know me well. My name is David Darchiashvili. I was born in year 1979 in Georgia. (Former Soviet union) In city called Tbilisi. I can't say that I was any special or different. I went to school #165 in my city, I was not anything special during my school years either. :) Somewhere between years 1992 - 1993 I prayed first time with the repentance prayer after watching a cartoon called "Super book" At the late 1993 Lord gave me privilege to meet The Salvation Army.* May 1'st of 1994 I became soldier and sense then, I am trying to be as faithful to the Lord and the principles of The Salvation Army as I can. In 1997 I went to Finland to become Officer (pastor). In 1998 I was given an opportunity to continue my education in USA - Chicago, IL. In 1999 I came back to Finland and then I was appointed as a Officer. My first appointment was in Ukraine as a Assistant Corps officer in Kiev Left - Bank Corps and Regional youth officer. In year 2000 I got a new appointment to Georgia as a Corps officer of the Didi Digomi Corps in Tbilisi. In year 2002 I received my third appointment as a Corps officer of the Kuleshovka Corps in Russia - southern region. In 2003 again I got new appointment :) back to Georgia as a Corps officer to the Rustavi Corps.
August 7th of 2004 I got married with Oxana Shuliansky.
In 2005 I was appointed in Kiev, Ukraine as a Divisional Youth Officer.

Oxana Shulianski

I was born, November 9th in beautiful city of Odessa, Ukraine. I got a wonderful family. Great parents and a loving sister. Since early age I remember my family traveling from one place to another. It was all because we moved to city Dubossari, Moldova. Every weekend we would travel back to Odessa to visit my grandparents. While being in Dubossari, we would visit our other grandparents. That’s mostly all that I remember about my childhood.
In 1996 I met The Salvation Army in Dubossari. That’s were I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saver.
In 1998 my parents moved to Finland to study in Institute for Officers Training (IFOT). And again, I went with them. That where I met Dato. :)
In 2000 my parents were stationed in Rostov-on-Don, Russia. And again I moved with them. There I entered University to study psychology. In 2002 Lord has called me to serve Him and I entered IFOT. In the July of the 2004 I was ordained as an Officer of The Salvation Army.
August 7th of 2004 I got married with Dato Darchiashvili and became Oxana Darchiashvili. :)
In April of 2005 we had a baby girl – Anastasia
In July of 2005 we moved to Kiev. I got appointed as Divisional Children’s ministry Officer.
Since 2006 I am appointed as a Divisional support officer and a “baby song” coordinator.
